If so, you might be the perfect candidate for an Apprentice grounds maintenance technician at Blackwell Adventure!
Blackwell Adventure is an outdoor activity provider located near Bromsgrove with a 50-acre plot, outdoor adventure activity facilities and camping. We are looking for an apprentice grounds maintenance technician to work as part of our busy maintenance team under the direction of the Facilities manager. You will focus on the maintenance of our campsite and grounds, site development projects, field maintenance and a wide variety of other grounds-related tasks.
This is a two-year Landscape/Horticulture Operative Level 2 Intermediate Apprenticeship with day release at Pershore College (https://wcg.ac.uk/course/info/1854) with a possible start date of 1st September 2023.
You will work 37 1/2 hours weekly including a day at college/training, Monday to Friday, with an annual wage inline Apprentice pay and the National Minimum Wage. You’ll receive at least 20 days paid holiday per year, plus bank holidays. You will also receive training and qualifications in emergency first aid, all PPE and uniform clothing. At the end of the apprenticeship, you may have the opportunity to secure a full-time position at Blackwell Adventure.
